You need to finish the stains created by the water from your bathroom. You can use a palm sander and 120 grit sandpaper so that you can completely remove the stains of the water from the door.

Step 6

Now you need to use a brush to use the solution of oxalic acid and water onto the stains. The purpose of using it is to mask the stains of the door with a new layer so that they cannot be seen. Once you have done with it, let the solution allow at least two to three hours so that it can soak the solution completely.

If you still can see the stains, then you need to use another layer of the solution so that they completely disappear. After doing all the things properly, allow the door to dry it completely for how much time it needs.

Step 7

The step will suggest you to use a rag to brush the door with a color that matches with the door color. You have to do it for the sake of matching the door’s color with the area and edges you have already repaired. Otherwise, it will look odd to you.

Step 8

This is the last but not least step to fix the water damage on the bathroom vanity door. And in this step, you have to sand the finish of the work with a 220 grit sandpaper so that it becomes smooth and looks finished.
